wasting time
Ok I'm supposed to be picking up the house for bible study tonight and instead I'm distracted by a hundred things on the computer. This, I know, is a waste of time but was fun to play around with. Check out Planet M&M if you feel like wasting some time today. Oh, and this is the real me where I would love to be right now!

You lost this sale Wal-Mark
Lexie has weaned herself this past week and so now we are doing formula. This is the kind I have been using and I have been using the small can they sell at Super 1 b/c it was easier to swallow a 6.99$ can than a 21.99$ can. It has gone up since Stephen was on formula. Seems like I remember it only being around 13.99$ then. Anyways, today I went to Wal-Mart and priced their big can and it was 24 oz powder for 21.99$. I just couldn't do it. Buying 2 small cans was so much cheaper even if it was a trip to another store. (something I usually avoid b/c it takes too long getting them both out of their carseats- dragging 2 bebes brings new meaning to just running in) I mean check my math: Super 1 has the 12 oz cans for 6.99 which would be around 15.00 with tax right? So, I left Wal-Mart and headed for Super 1 to stock up on the little cans. The little cans were being clearanced for 3.50$ Not sure why. Cashier didn't know either. The dates on the bottom said May 2007 and it's powder so it's not going to go bad or anything, right? Anyways, I bought the 6 cans they had on the shelf and she even threw in two coupons. Long story short- I got 72 oz of powder formula for 17.95$ (tax included) instead of going the easy way with W.M. and getting only 24 oz for 21.99$. Go me, go me, go me! Sorry, I'm excited about my savings. Maybe I can use my savings to get some hanging ferns for my front porch like I've been wanting too...

Could have been used this morning when Brad called and woke me up at 9:45 this morning. Oh, it was soo nice. Thank you to Pop and Breamy, who I am quite sure did not sleep late this morning. I do miss you, my little SuperBoy, but I am determined to make myself enjoy this week.
